# What is the Swamp exactly, dev?

Swamping and You: A comprehensive guide to dunking your tokens into the murky water.

The Swamp is our staking platform, at no cost to project owners we open staking pools where community members can stake the listed tokens and earn rewards from it.\

What's the catch? Our platform fee is taken on the backend, 6% tax on rewards generated by stakers. How to mitigate this tax, you ask? Holders of 38,000 Fiona are taxed half of what a normal staker is, 3% instead of 6%.\
\
The staked tokens are never taxed, stakers may stake and unstake at any time without penalty. No lockups required to earn daily.<br>
